David and Patience Mugume

Kampala, Uganda

Meet David and Patience Mugume: committed believers serving Christ through gospel ministry, church leadership, and community outreach in Uganda. David is the Lead Pastor of Zana Community Church, a confessional Reformed congregation where he provides pastoral oversight, preaching, and discipleship. As an ordained minister with several years of experience, he is passionate about faithfully preaching God's Word and shepherding His people.

Together, the Mugumes lead a missions ministry that includes Food for Uganda, a mercy and evangelism outreach under Community at Heart Ministry, focused especially on the local broader population, including the Motocycle Taxi drivers (boda-boda) community. David also co-directs a print and media business in Kampala’s “Shark Street,” using it as a platform for marketplace ministry.

They are also co-founders of the Alliance for Gospel Church Planting and Missions in East Africa (AGCPMEA)—a network committed to planting confessional churches and revitalizing gospel work across the region.

Your prayers and support are vital to this mission. Thank you for walking with us to make Christ known in Uganda and beyond.
