Matthew grew up in a covenant home in the PCA. He studied languages at the University of Istanbul and earned a M.Div. degree at Greenville Presbyterian Theological Seminary. After working with and interning in various Belgian churches during his seminary training, he was called by the Blue Ridge Presbytery of the PCA to church planting. He presently serves, by the Lord’s abundant grace, as the pastor of that Presbytery’s mission church in Ghent, Belgium. The Reformed Protestant Church of Ghent seeks to provide a faithful witness, grounded in the Reformed vision of ministry and church life, in the heart of a beautiful city where the Bible’s content and message are scarcely known.
