Mauricio is an entrepreneur with a degree in Industrial Engineering and owns a construction and home inspection business. He leads weekly Bible studies for Colombian friends online. Before taking time off to study, he served as a deacon in their church.

Sandra is a medical doctor from Colombia and currently works as a medical assistant in a clinic that serves uninsured and underprivileged people in her community. She serves in the missions committee, children's ministry, and worship team at their church. Within the women’s ministry, she leads a project to support the local women’s shelter food drive program.

Currently, she is serving in medical missions with “Somos Amigos” in the Dominican Republic. Both are studying a Master in Divinity at Thirdmill Seminary. Additionally, they are developing a self-sustaining Acuaponic farm in Colombia with the hope of using that business to sustain ministry and spread the gospel in the region.
